Norm and Angel Poorman are high school sweethearts who have founded their lives upon the gospel of Jesus Christ. Norm and Angel were married in 1993 and have two sons, Hunter and Hayden. The Poormans hold their family as their primary ministry but also feel called to serve others in the places God calls them. Abilene, Texas has been their home for years, but God has birthed in them a heart for the nations and for seeing His kingdom spread to the ends of the earth.
Dr. Norm Poorman received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Certificate of Missions from Abilene Christian University in 1994. He holds a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry and a Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Angel Poorman is a Registered Dental Hygienist, and together they have practiced dentistry in Abilene, Texas since 2001.
God has given the Poormans many opportunities to serve in prayer, healing, and service-based ministries. They attend Beltway Park Church where they serve on the prayer and ministry team. They have facilitated classes with Transformation School of Supernatural Ministry, and serve at Love and Care Ministries through dental clinics and feeding programs.
Through a revelation in 2010, God transitioned their focus to Camp Barkeley, their 1,000-acre property. That same year, they established the Camp Barkeley Retreat Center. This retreat facility is a gathering place for small groups and individuals to come and meet with God, rest, and be filled by His presence.
In 2013, a partnership with Iris Global and Partners in Harvest was formed. Camp Barkeley expanded to become Iris Abilene: Camp Barkeley. In 2015, the Camp Barkeley Worship Center was built and registered as a Partners in Harvest Church. This partnership has created a channel for leaders to be ordained and sent out into ministry. To expand the diverse use of the property, Camp Barkeley’s capacity has grown into an additional ministry, Camp Barkeley Training and Equipping Center. This new entity exists to serve as a location for education, retreat, networking and preservation.
By remaining sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, God has expanded the Poorman’s borders to direct many new ministries for His glory.
David and Amy Black have served for over 40 years in the ministry with a passion to see people come into the fullness of healing, wholeness, and the abundance of salvation. Together, they have served five churches in the West Texas area, as well as starting and directing various retreats, healing centers, and outreach ministries. In 2009, they began and now oversee the Transformation School of Supernatural Ministry serving Abilene and the surrounding areas.
With an undergraduate degree from McMurry University and a masters of divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, David has always been a natural teacher, equipping churches as their pastor with practical truth about the Father's heart in an approachable, humorous, and powerful way. And with Amy alongside him with her MA from Hardin-Simmons University in marriage and family therapy, her passion has always been to see healing flow into the brokenness of people's lives, prompting her to begin and currently direct The Freedom Center which equips and releases ministers for healing all across the world.
Because of their passion to see the kingdom come to all corners of the globe, they have taken multiple trips to the Holy Land, leading several groups, hoping to ignite a love for Israel in the hearts of Christian believers. They have also helped to start an orphanage in Aurangabad, India, and Amy has traveled several times to Pemba, Mozambique to work with Iris Ministries. They live in Abilene, Texas and have two married children and three grandchildren.

Heidi Baker's greatest passion is to live in the manifest presence of God and to carry His glory, presence and love to a lost and dying world. She longs to see others laying their lives down for the sake of the gospel and coming home to the Father's love. Rolland and Heidi Baker founded Iris Ministry, now Iris Global, in 1980. In 1995 they were called to the poorest country in the world at the time, Mozambique, and faced an extreme test of the Gospel. They began by pouring out their lives among abandoned street children, and as the Holy Spirit moved miraculously in many ways a revival movement spread to adults, pastors, churches and then throughout the bush all across Mozambique's ten provinces. Heidi is now "Mama Aida" to thousands of children, and oversees a broad holistic ministry that includes Bible schools, medical clinics, church-based orphan care, well drilling, primary schools, evangelistic industries, cottage farms, widow's programs, and healing outreaches in remote villages that includes a network of hundreds of churches. She earned her BA, MA degrees from S.C.C., Vanguard University and her PhD from Kings College, University of London. She is calling for a passionate tribe of believers who will pour out their life for loves sake and bring all children of all age's home to the Fathers embrace!
