ARE THE STORIES IN THE BIBLE REAL?
Are the stories in the Bible real?
Greetings from beautiful Abilene TX!! We have had quite a full, fun month this September. In the words of A.W. Tozer "If you are bored with god, perhaps you are not following GOD." We have had so much fun watching God unfold His mysterious plan which is in Christ Jesus Himself. We have NOT been bored!

For the first time, Catch the Fire is partnering with Iris Abilene Camp Barkeley to offer a 3-Week Leaders School of Ministry in Abilene, Texas. This Leaders School creates an atmosphere and opportunity for three weeks away from the demands of life and ministry to encounter God in a new way.
** What an incredible month!!!
God once again has expressed His loving kindness towards us here at Iris Abilene: Camp Barkeley. He has done so many things this month, from provision in many different ways, to just showing us in nature His majesty. We are so thankful this season for a God that loves to display His goodness to those that He loves.
This last month has been filled with the goodness and the kindness of God!! We had the honor of hosting a group of about forty 6th graders from Beltway Park for their weekend retreat. The weekend was filled with fun and inspiration to be intentional in community, not only with the body of Christ but with Christ Himself, the Holy Spirit, and Daddy God. We Desire to see the generations released into their destiny and to see the true sons and daughters rise up and bring forth the Kingdom of God, as the revelation of son-ship is solidified in their hearts. Jesus did just that in the 6th graders that came!! They reminded us of the simplicity of the gospel, that is, to receive love than give it away freely.
“WHEN YOU PASS THROUGH THE WATERS I WILL BE WITH YOU”-ISAIAH 43:2
We have been so blessed this past month by the outpouring of the goodness of God on the land at Camp Barkeley, as well as in the hearts of those he has sent to the base!!! As we prepared for our next Global missions school that started May 20th (CB2), we were expectant for God to move as He increased our faith in numerous areas. Preparing students, staff, and guest speakers to come and get a glimpse of His glory and to receive a deeper revelation of His love for us, as we grow and walk in the truth that we have been chosen by Him through the spirit of adoption to be His children. (Galatians 4)
Iris Global School of Missions exists to train and equip Kingdom leaders to abide in the love and presence of God. To know their identity in Christ, and commission them in their destiny. Kingdom leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration motivated by a passion, generated by a vision, produced by a conviction, ignited by a passion... We know that Jesus is the desire for America and the nations. As we mobilize and create a culture of love and unity as the Body of Christ, His kingdom, power, and glory will be made known to all. Our heart is to make room for His Bride and embrace everyone’s giftings to empower and encourage.
